Books Read - 2023

Although I have been documenting my progress of reading on my shelf already, as we enter a new year, it’s time to reflect on the books I’ve read this whole year.

I completed 105 books this year & left 20ish books unfinished for different reasons. I believe 90+ books I read were in digital format. The books belong to different genres though but I have broadly categorized them into Tech, Zines, Non Fiction & Religious. The pages range from 20 pages to 1300 pages.

The iPad has been really useful for me helping me to stick to my reading habit. I tend to read between 30-50 pages everyday. I have Kindle Paperwhite as well but I don’t use that anymore. That has been lying idle in my desk for more than a year.

As apparent from the titles I delved into a diverse range of topics, from Islamic Mysticism and Programming to Science and Self Help. These books have broadened my understanding of the world and deepened my connection with knowledge overall.

I hope that our reading list will inspire you to pick up a new book and continue your own journey of learning and growth.

So, here are the books I managed to read in 2023:

๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿ’ป Technology (8)

๐Ÿ“– WizardZines by Julia Evans (7)

๐Ÿ“˜ Non Fiction (7)

๐Ÿ•Œ Religious (83)

๐ŸŽฏ Target for 2024

Well that is not all, there are many other books out there waiting to be explored in next year. I aim for 120 books. Some of the authors/books I aim to read:

I also read hundreds of blogs but couldn’t document them all. You can find some of my favorites here. I encourage you to share your own readings / recommendations, so that we can continue to learn from each other.

Happy New Year in advance ๐ŸŽ‰
